These Terms of Service govern your use of Consona, provided by Consona (“Consona”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, starting a Business Scan or using Consona, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Consona helps businesses understand routine operational work and, where a customer chooses, configure approved workflows between connected applications.
The Consona Business Scan is read-only. It provides observations, aggregate findings and illustrative calculations. It does not make changes to a connected application and does not switch on automation without your approval.
2. Your account and authority
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You must have authority to connect each application and to permit Consona to process the information necessary to provide the service.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that your use of Consona complies with applicable law and the terms of your connected applications.
3. Connected applications
When you authorise a connection, Consona may access the permissions and data necessary for the selected service. You can disconnect an application through Consona or by revoking access with the relevant provider.
A successful connection does not guarantee that every provider function, workflow or recommendation will be available. Availability depends on provider permissions, service status and your chosen plan.
4. Business Scan findings
Business Scan findings are intended to help you understand possible areas of routine work. Time-saving calculations are transparent estimates based on stated assumptions and available aggregate data. They are not guarantees of savings, revenue, compliance, operational outcomes or suitability for a particular purpose.
You remain responsible for reviewing findings and approving any workflow before it is enabled.
5. Plans, trials and payment
Current plans, trial terms, usage limits and prices are shown on the Consona website or in the product before purchase.
If you begin a paid plan, you agree to pay the stated fees and applicable taxes.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Consona unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Consona or connected applications;
- interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the service;
- use Consona to process data where you lack authority; or
- reverse engineer, copy or misuse Consona except where law prevents us from restricting that activity.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect Consona, users, connected providers, or comply with law. You may stop using Consona at any time and may request account deletion in accordance with our Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Consona and its content, software, branding and documentation are owned by or licensed to Consona. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Consona during your subscription or authorised trial.
You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us only the rights necessary to operate and improve the service for you, subject to our Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Consona is provided with reasonable care and skill. However, software, third-party providers and internet services are not error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a finding, recommendation or integration will achieve a particular business result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales . The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
